| Katherine Jenkins In Roksanda Ilincic – Royal Ascot Posted: 18 Jun 2013 03:42 PM PDT Katherine Jenkins made a brilliantly bold entrance today at the Royal Ascot at Ascot Racecourse in England. The singer was a vision in a vibrantly hued, colour-blocked dress from Roksanda Ilincic’s Pre-Fall 2013 collection. The hot orange and pink shades were mirrored in the impressively artistic fascinator, which topped off this frock with a grand flourish. While the rationale behind her nude Anya Hindmarch ‘Seymour’ clutch was probably to avoid distracting from her strong look, the opposite effect seemed to happen, as I found myself focusing on the odd-colour-out. With her vivid Dayglo hues, Katherine smartly wore a daintier sandal and kept her makeup rather neutral, while slicking her hair into a simple updo. You may recall that Naomie Harris wore this dress earlier this year, styled to much different effect. | Eva Longoria In Pamella Roland – ‘Devious Maids’ LA Premiere Posted: 18 Jun 2013 03:18 PM PDT Eva Longoria attended the premiere of ‘Devious Maids,’ hosted yesterday at Bel-Air Bay Club in Beverly Hills, California. While many of the TV show’s leading ladies opted for punchy cocktail dresses or fluid gowns, executive producer Eva paraded out a refreshing Pamella Roland Spring 2013 zipper jumpsuit. Featuring a twist on a mock peplum waist, the blush-white design literally brought sexy back with sheer side and back panel insets. My wish for this look was that the pants, which translated as a bit loose and long, were slightly more tailored, especially after viewing the architectural lookbook version. The oversized envelope clutch also compromised the effect, as the bag was overwhelmingly large for my taste—and for Eva’s petite frame. Patent nude peep-toe pumps by Brian Atwood, minimal jewels and a pretty pink lippie were far less intrusive.

| Taylor Schilling In Calvin Klein – Netflix Presents ‘Orange Is The New Black’ Special Posted: 18 Jun 2013 02:15 PM PDT Taylor Schilling attended a special screening yesterday for ‘Orange Is The New Black,’ presented by Netflix, at AMC Loews Broadway 4 in Santa Monica, California. Wearing neither orange or black, the actress took a lighter approach in her white angora, double-faced cotton halter top and belted, front-slit skirt from Calvin Klein’s Resort 2013 collection. While the wide buckle belt was worn loose and low on the runway, I found myself wishing it was cinched a bit more snugly on Taylor’s svelte frame. Neutral-toned, cross-strap pointy heels were a safer choice than the catwalk’s blocky platforms and added a retro flair. Throwing her blonde hair into an effortless, piece-y updo and flaunting a radiant, bronzed complexion, she exuded a cool Cali vibe. | Zhang Ziyi In Jill Stuart & Andrew Gn – Shanghai Film Festival Posted: 18 Jun 2013 01:57 PM PDT After recently showing us her inner matador-ess and pattern print-cess, Zhang Ziyi once again proved she was a red-carpet chameleon on Monday, debuting two completely different looks during the 16th Shanghai International Film Festival in China. ‘My Lucky Star’ Press Conference: To promote her movie at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel, the actress presented an adorable blue-and-white gingham dress by Jill Stuart that had a slightly nautical appeal. A dual-tone belt offset the exaggerated hip silhouette of the sweet frock. She accessorized with nude Casadei stilettos, a wristful of bangles and a white Omega watch, along with effortless, loose waves. BONA Lucky Night: For the event at Peace Hotel, Zhang wore a glossy copper-and-black Andrew Gn dress that featured a bold tribal-inspired pattern. She styled the dress with Jimmy Choo peep-toe pumps and H. Stern jewels. An updo would have changed up the look even more from her earlier entrance. | Sandra Bullock In Michael Kors & ASOS – ‘The Heat’ Berlin Photocall Posted: 18 Jun 2013 01:06 PM PDT Sandra Bullock brought a slick, classic approach to the red carpet today at ‘The Heat’ photocall in Berlin, Germany at Hotel De Rome. Like at the film’s London screening, the actress worked another straightforward black ensemble. She fashionably forged together high-street and designer style with her Michael Kors button-up blouse from the Fall 2013 collection and an ASOS leather pencil skirt. Further extending the tough-luxe appeal, she added a double stack of oversized link-chain Pomellato bracelets and Tabitha Simmons ‘Strippy’ gladiator-inspired sandals. Sleek, straight locks and a metallic-smokey eye completed the look. | Burberry Prorsum Spring 2014 Menswear Front Row Posted: 18 Jun 2013 11:40 AM PDT After a decade in Milan, British designer Christopher Bailey moved the Burberry Prorsum Menswear show back to home turf, as he sent a set of best-dressed boys down the Spring 2014 runway today at Kensington Gardens in London, England. An eclectic group was seated front row, with many rocking their own interpretations of the brand. Douglas Booth: The young English actor turned on his boyish charm with this casual Burberry ensemble, as he rolled up the sleeves of his denim-blue blazer. The floral-print, cerulean-blue shirt echoed some of the brighter hues seen on the runway, but his dark, baggy pants and unpolished black lace-up shoes brought down the look a bit. Serena Williams: The tennis ace simultaneously flaunted and covered her curves in top-to-toe Burberry, donning a Burberry London fuchsia body-con minidress mixed with a classic stone-coloured trench. She styled the look with animal-print, calfskin T-bar sandals and a tote bag, covered in black hearts. A pulled-back ‘do, rather than her super-long locks, may have delivered a more polished effect. Tinie Tempah: The British rapper also got in touch with his animal instincts with a Burberry giraffe-print, black-and-white shirt worn with the brand’s black cropped leg pants and shiny patent shoes. The bold black frames of his glasses added another dose of cool factor to his standout entrance. Hugh Dancy: The dapper actor suited up in Burberry, but took some of the formality out of his slate-blue sport coat and pants by going tie-less and unbuttoning the collar of his baby-blue striped shirt. The hint of a pocket square along with black patent shoes completed his easygoing approach. Dan Gillespie Sells: The British singer-songwriter watched the show in a black Burberry sport coat and baggy pants. With the sheen of the jacket, an edgy printed T-shirt, instead of his plain white tee, would have been preferred. David Gandy: The British model looked appropriately suave, as he sauntered out a multilayered ensemble featuring a slim-fitting camel suede blazer paired over a tan micro-herringbone vest and navy pants. His slate-blue tie reflected the colour of his steely-blue eyes. Aviator sunglasses and black patent shoes topped off the look. | Ahna O’Reilly In Paule Ka – ‘Fruitvale Station’ LA Premiere Posted: 18 Jun 2013 06:00 AM PDT Ahna O'Reilly joined co-stars Octavia Spencer and Melonie Diaz on the red carpet on Monday evening for the premiere of their latest movie, 'Fruitvale Station'. The pretty actress continues her great run promoting this movie, this time wearing a Paule Ka Black Carpet 2013 Collection white crepe cocktail dress with cut-out details. Ahna styled her frock with Jimmy Choo 'Malika' perforated booties – giving us a pleasant break from the standard black or nude pumps we are presented with on a daily basis – and a chic side-parted bun, ensuring we got a good look at the bow detail at the back. You may remember that Miranda Cosgrove wore a similar version of this dress earlier this month to the 'Despicable Me 2' Sydney premiere. | Diane Kruger In Jason Wu – A Summer Soirée To Benefit ACRIA Posted: 18 Jun 2013 05:00 AM PDT Last week, Diane Kruger attended 'A Summer Soirée to benefit ACRIA’ hosted by Jason Wu at The Glass House in New York City. The actress is the second star to give us a look at Jason Wu's Resort 2014 collection, following Kerry Washington at the CFDA Fashion Awards. Diane selected a blush duchess-satin A-line strapless dress which doesn't appear in the look book, which she expertly styled with Jason Wu accessories including a blue eel-skin clutch and studded ‘Nadja’ sandals. The colour is divine against her skin tone. I also love her beauty regime, which is usually kept very simple; on this occasion, as the guest of honour, she gave her look a boost with fuchsia-pink lips and rosy cheeks, completing her look with a slicked-back bun. | Kylie Minogue In Anthony Vaccarello – The 40/40 Club 10-Year Anniversary Party Posted: 18 Jun 2013 04:00 AM PDT Kylie Minogue attended The 40/40 Club 10-Year Anniversary Party at The 40/40 Club in New York City. Before joining Beyonce Knowles and Jay-Z inside, the singer/actress posed on the red carpet, showcasing her Anthony Vaccarello Spring 2013 micro-mini dress. The simple, sexy design, which features a white top and wrapped metallic-silver mini skirt, should come as some relief to those tired of Kylie's twee dresses. For someone who has an extensive shoe closet, I'm a little disappointed with her simple black pumps on this occasion. The runway heels are much more impressive. A black clutch with gold hardware, a gold bracelet and fuchsia-pink lippie provided the finishing touches. Aside from the accessories, I love this look. | Mireille Enos In J. Mendel – ‘World War Z’ New York Premiere Posted: 18 Jun 2013 02:56 AM PDT After a day of promotional duties, Mireille Enos ended her day with the premiere of her latest movie 'World War Z' in New York City. The actress wore a fiery J. Mendel off-the-shoulder abstract print jacquard gown, which she styled with Rupert Sanderson pumps, a Foley + Corinna clutch, and jewels by Vintage Movado, Norman Silverman, and Le Vian. Even though the gown isn't quite season appropriate, I love how the colours complement her auburn tresses and how the volcanic feel of the gown is perfectly in theme with the movie. | Henry Cavill In Ralph Lauren Purple Label – ‘Man of Steel’ Madrid Premiere Posted: 18 Jun 2013 02:46 AM PDT With Amy Adams spotted back stateside, it’s left to the guys to continue promoting 'Man of Steel'. Henry Cavill was joined by Russell Crowe – who stars as his dad in the movie – at the Capital Cinema in Madrid, Spain on Monday evening for the premiere of the movie they call 'El Hombre de Acero'. Once again, I find myself more attracted to Henry’s handsome good looks than his suit. Opting for another three-piece look, his Ralph Lauren Purple Label charcoal suit was styled with a purple shirt and purple knit tie; I find myself once again bothered by the waistcoat. And that is not my only issue: the pants and blazers are in different shades of grey, but that could be intentional or bad lighting. Either way, I'm only liking this from the breastbone up. So far, I sadly haven't been too enamoured with Henry's run on this promo tour. He still has time to pull it back with Shanghai, Sydney and South America yet to conquer. | Melonie Diaz In Reem Acra – ‘Fruitvale Station’ LA Premiere Posted: 18 Jun 2013 02:32 AM PDT Melonie Diaz joined her co-star Octavia Spencer on the red carpet for the premiere of their latest movie 'Fruitvale Station', which was held at Regal Cinemas L.A. Live in Los Angeles, California. The red carpet newcomer wore a shimmering pink Reem Acra Spring 2012 strapless frock with body contouring panels, which showcased her beautiful curvaceous figure. Styling was kept simple with Marina B 'Onda Croissant' white-gold earrings and peep-toes accented with multicoloured crystals. | Beyonce Knowles In Roberto Cavalli – The 40/40 Club 10-Year Anniversary Party Posted: 18 Jun 2013 02:25 AM PDT Beyonce Knowles looked stunning while attending The 40/40 Club 10-Year Anniversary Party in New York City on Monday evening. The singer, who took time out of her Mrs Carter tour to celebrate this milestone with her hubby Jay-Z, most definitely had all eyes on her wearing this white Roberto Cavalli Spring 2013 cut-out dress, which was designed with a daring woman in mind. She styled her dress, which is a sleeveless version of the one which took to the runway, with just a gold clutch. Beyonce chose to keep her platinum-blonde tresses sleek and straight, and simply applied a nude lip colour to complete her look. You may remember that Irina Shayk wore a similar version in black during Cannes Film Festival. | Kylie Minogue In Emilio Pucci – ‘Kylie Fashion’ Book Launch Posted: 18 Jun 2013 02:13 AM PDT Kylie Minogue made a guest appearance at Saks Fifth Avenue's flagship store in New York City on Monday afternoon to promote the release of her book 'Kylie Fashion'. After a succession of cutesy dresses, racy Kylie came out to play, wearing an Emilio Pucci Fall 2013 black mini dress with beaded sheer chiffon panels and a swirl motif on the sleeves. Jimmy Choo 'Agnes' degrade silver-and-black pumps and a statement ring accessorized her look. | Octavia Spencer In Tadashi Shoji – ‘Fruitvale Station’ LA Premiere Posted: 18 Jun 2013 02:00 AM PDT Octavia Spencer made a return to the red carpet following her trip to Cannes Film Festival to promote her latest movie, ‘Fruitvale Station’. On Monday evening the movie had its LA premiere, held at Regal Cinemas L.A. Live in Los Angeles, California, where the actress wore yet another Tadashi Shoji look. The actress looked beautiful wearing a vibrant cobalt-blue lace off-the-shoulder dress featuring three-quarter-length sleeves and a blouson top, which was accented with a grosgrain ribbon belt. As always, effortless, flattering – a match made in fashion heaven. A simple updo and silver crystal-encrusted slingbacks completed her look. | Mireille Enos In Bibhu Mohapatra & ASOS – ‘World War Z’ Promo Tour Posted: 18 Jun 2013 01:54 AM PDT Mireille Enos was in very good spirits as she promoted her new movie 'World War Z' on Monday morning. Good Day NY: Her first look was a Bibhu Mohapatra saffron fez-print sleeveless dress with a black insert from the Resort 2013 collection, which she styled with black Rupert Sanderson pumps and H.Stern earrings. This colourful printed frock was a great way to start the day. New York Live!: Mireille's second frock was my favourite. I adore her ASOS animal-print midi dress, which she accented with a red patent-leather belt and styled with nude Louboutin pumps. The look is effortless and perfect for daytime TV. I love that Mireille loves colour and print. She is a girl after my own heart, even though her shoe choices weren't that inspiring to me, yet perfect for the occasions.
